Fall Course Catalog

Follow your pursuit of excellence with Continuing Education @ The DOG. We offer select courses designed to meet your needs, and each course is taught by our team of certified trainers. Whether you’re looking to give back through Therapy Dog training, or just want to pick up a trick or two, we have something to suit your needs.

CONTINUING ED

Continuing Education courses are only available to our Training program graduates.

All courses include one week of Training, boarding, round-trip transportation, a bath, and a private home lesson.

 

Enrollment is open through December 15. Times and availability vary by course.

Fall is the best time to explore the Hudson Highlands. Spend a week trekking our 130 acres of wilderness and the miles of trails in adjoining Fahnestock State Park. Your pup will come home refreshed and renewed. Leaf art included!

Trick or treat?  Both, of course! Treat yourself to new tricks for hours of fun. What better way to build your dog's vocabulary and strengthen the bond between your pup and family. AKC accreditation is available if you master five of the required tricks.

Focus mind and body as you race through an agility course. From wickets to tunnels, we’ll give your pup the “ins” and “outs” of coursework. There are even competitions if you get really good!

Do you want to support those in need? Does your pup have the right temperament to be a Therapy Dog? We will give you a firm grasp of the fundamentals, and when you’re ready we’ll even schedule the test for certification.
